Yo yo whats up fam!? First off Happy Birthday shout outs to uncle John and Scott. Happy Birthdays!

This week was alright. We are having a hard time finding new investigators. A lot of people will accept visits but when we end up on their doorstep they seem not to be home. Funny how that works.
We had divisions again. I went with Elder Jimenez in his area in Santa Clara. It was really cool.  He is a really good missionary. He only has two transfers left. I feel bad though he got screwed out of training with two wicked companions when he was trained so he's kind of had to learn by himself. I really loved working with him though.

We went to the temple today to do a session but my comp forgot his freaking recommend. chyea right are you mental!?(Waynes world) but I got my packages so esta bien. I already opened it and I am very happy with the merchandise. Shout out to Ash for the mp3 and everyone that helped with that. And also the sweater. I don't know whose doing that was but I approve. 10/10 will wear.

We got some crazy dogs out here. Sometimes at night I literally look over my shoulder and think I'm being stalked by a leopard or something but its just a giant dog. I made a new friend this week during divisions though. I'll attach a pic if I can this week. And come to find out one of our investigators is preaching doctrine Sunday mornings in her store to old people and that is why she isn't coming to church. And she is using the stuff we are teaching her to preach. Um hello!? Can you say apostasy?

Much love, mom. Hope all is well. Stay golden.

Here are a few pics. One of them is the dog I came to know and love, and I want one exactly like him when I return. Another is me going Mace Windu all up on ya. And one is just me king a da castle over my city.

Aye mama. This week hasn't been very crazy. Nothing very exciting happened. We had interviews with President on Wednesday and that was very interesting. President Naumann is just so wise. We did do divisions again and I went with Elder Sanchez who is a homie. We have to use the bucket shower system over there so when Elder Sanchez was warming up his water with the water heater thing the outlet started to smoke and the cord melted. I guess it overheated haha. And they have an ax to scare away the cat that comes into the house at night so I got some cool pictures with that.Their place is way nicer than ours so I'm a little butthurt about it. But we got a shower so it's all good.

Since there are so many people here we really focus on contacting so we'll get peoples info that way and then we will schedule an appointment or just stop by one day to see. There are only a few people we are teaching, and my companion honestly just isn't that motivated so we don't have very much success in finding investigators and keeping them and progressing them. He is tough to deal with. He would much rather stay inside and study all day long than go out and get stuff done. We set goals but he just isn't very motivated to accomplish them. He likes to spend way too much time at members houses and with the other elders in the district. It's weird too because he is the district leader. I just can't tell you the truth most times because he sits right next to me when we email and he creeps hardcore and is always looking at what  I write, but we got split up today. Just do me a favor and in the future, don't ask about my companion situation because he'll probably read it

The language is progressing. I am starting to understand a lot more, but speaking is a lot harder. It is just very frustrating at times.

It's crazy that the babies are already one. That is insane. I miss hanging out with them all the time. And Ashley always buying me food.  Luckily I was able to watch conference in English with the other American missionaries in my stake. I have not gotten your package yet. I only get them when I go to the mission office for something or zone conferences. I'm getting Laurie's letter just about a month late though haha. I do love reading them though. I brought my USB plugin but it isn't working on this crappy computer. Sorry bout it.

Love,

Yo yo, whats up fam. This week was good. General Conference was um s'good. I love Elder Oaks talk about 'The Family'' he was spitting some fire. I don't understand why people have a problem with our view (God's view) on marriage and families. If you don't agree with it then why are you listening to General Conference? At least one apostle talks about it every single conference. Just remember people always get offended by the truth.  I feel like there's been a lot around me lately about family and temple marriage. My mission pres. said eternal life is a personal endeavor but exaltation is a family  endeavor.

Anyways, this week we went to the visitors center to do like a tour thing. I doubt we will ever be able to go there with investigators though because it is like over an hour away with traffic. We did divisions again. I went with Elder Acosta who speaks less English than Nathan and Ethan, but it went really well. And this week I'm going with Elder Sanchez from San Diego. It should be fun and interesting.

Not too many interesting things this week, just a bunch of drunk guys that want to know more about the church haha. There is a shop across the street from the chapel that always plays Guns n Roses and I love it haha. And the bar across the street from our house always plays some good music. It's always Spanish music but I love it.

There hasn't been any crazy experiences this week but some really strong impressions I've recieved especially during conference. The dogs here are insane. It seems like they form street gangs and have their own turf. It is actually pretty cool to observe haha. It is nice, I am pretty much adapted to the way of life here. I have actually been pretty used to it for a while now. I've been blessed in that way.

I love you mom. I will try to have cooler experiences next week to share haha.

P.S. I forgot the usb plug in so no pictures again. Sorry

Most of the damage was in the southern part of the city so nothing really changed up here for us.

The language is progressing very slowly, but it is progressing. The area is pretty city, I guess. It's just never ending concrete housing with trees growing out in random places and some hills. The higher up you get the more humble it gets if you know what I mean. It's a massive area we have the biggest area in the mission. We split it with 2 other companionships. Just look it up on google. (mexico city/ ecatepec/hank gonzalaz) It's like a valley and we cover like the valley I guess. Look up Mexicable and that is where we are. The weather is perfect; it's just warm and overcast pretty often as well. The sun is very intense though.

Church is good. We don't have to do to much because the ward boundaries are massive so there's quite a bit of members. I know I usually don't write too much about spiritual experiences but I have to mention this one. We went on divisions with the zone leaders and as I've told you I have been pretty frustrated and stressed.  I was working with Elder Ake. He got sick and asked me to give him a blessing. I did it in English because I felt if i did it in Spanish at this point I wouldn't be able to do it adequately; he doesn't speak English. Later that night when we were walking home he told me that it was the strongest blessing he's ever received and the spirit was stronger than he's ever felt. He told me that the reason I'm feeling inadequate is because Satan knows who the strongest and most powerful missionaries are and he targets them with these thoughts of self doubt. During this time is when I was feeling the most down on myself. It just goes to show you that the Lord knows when we are in times of trial and despair, and will help you. The spirit told Elder Ake to say this; I know he did, because I was at a breaking point mentally. The light will always overcome the dark.

I love you and I can feel the families and friends prayers for me daily. Much love, fam. Stay woke.

P.S. I don't have any pictures from this week. Sorry.
