Merry Christmas, love ya!

I don't know what to say, we just talked yesterday but I'm doing pretty good I guess. Coco was amazing, and it actually did have a really important message about family history. If we don't find the names of our ancestors and do their temple work they cannot enter into God's kingdom. And if we don't do it we are going to pay for it. Our salvation depends on it. If you don't believe me just read D&C. The music in the movie was oh so wonderful. I don't know how it was in English but I think it might have originally been made in Spanish. It wasn't awkward or anything with any of the translations but IDK. All I know is I want to play the guitar.

Yeah, I got the journal and clips. Shout out to Hay for the gift! I do miss football honestly. When I was in the sad Elder Adams days in my training I would think if I would have stayed another year at NMMI I would be at a D1 school getting a free education and playing ball, but then I realized that I would rather be saving souls than playing ball so we all good now. But to answer yes I miss football.

In the pictures, it is me with my comp in the Utah shirts and the theater with part of the District.  Elder Bischoff who is sitting next to me is wearing a Utah tie. He is from Indiana but is going to the U so I thought you guys would appreciate knowing that. Love ya.

Happy late birthday shout out to Court, even though he doesn't talk to me no more I think he's still living. And happy birthday to Taylor! Last one in the states for a few years.

I'm doing good. I know I have a package but I haven't personally received it yet. They should bring it to zone conference tomorrow. Johnny looks like he's doing good and lost weight maybe, even though he was never big to begin with. Those South America countries man, they'll get ya. And Moses looks like he's doing good as well. It is crazy that Moses goes home in like 6 months haha.

I attached a picture of a baptism we had, not to show the baptism, but to show my skinny face. I think I lost ten pounds just in my neck man sheesh. I'm doing good as always. I still got a lingering cough but feel good. Hermana Naumann said it will probably linger for 3 weeks so looking forward to that for sure. That's fun you are seeing all your old friends from high school.

We have our Christmas service activity and conference tomorrow so I'm stoked for that. And we get to see Coco. Our president said it is a good story about family history. And with that will someone please send me the best two years and the saratov approach? They're some of the only movies to watch and I want to watch a movie haha.

I still don't know when I can skype. My comp's dad might work on Christmas so probably later in the evening but not sure still. We can do it over email, it is a lot easier. There is a facetime option in the little hangounts section. I will advise you before hand though I hope. Just be ready for a surprise.

Love you, see ya soon!

This week was pretty crazy. I got the flu about half way through the week and couldn't work so not much happened to tell you. I'm recovering. I still got a cough but am ok now.

That's sick that Utah is playing WV in the bowl game. I wish I could go haha.

Idk that is really it. I haven't done much this week cuz I was sick, but I brought my camera and will send some pictures finally so that's dope. They are from like the last month so enjoy.

The crazy thing is here when you get sick you just shoot up meds from the needle no matter what. All the members were trying to give me injections of some mystery serum. I wasn't down. My comp was trying to dose me out too haha but I don't trust these needles and meds out here enough to go and do something like that.

Every Friday this month we eat con la familia Rico. They live so high up there, it is insane. The incline has to be like 65% i swear. It is killer and with the altitude up here, it got me wheezin, but its ok. That's all.

Love you!

I bought this dope hand painted aztec calendar shirt in the tiangis. And the one picture is with my teacher in the ccm, hermana ramirez. And me with my companion.

I am loving the mission a lot more right now. I love my new comp. He had a rough few months of his mission but he is really awesome. He is crazy but I love it because I'm crazy too. Life is so much better now and my Spanish is improving daily now. Still ugly but improving. I feel good health wise; my feet are just a little messed up but mission life, cha feel?

I love the new district too. There are now 8 elder in the El Mirador ward. It is crazy there are so many of us. Our area is the biggest of them all though. We do some walking haha.

I needed a sweater because it is chilly in the nights here and the one i came with is wayyy too big so i went to the bodega aurrera to buy a knew one and the biggest size they had was xl and it actually  kind of fits me, so thats cool I guess. I am weak now tho, it sucks. The food is good, It is nothing like you think mexican food is though. It is different, way different.

We have been doing a lot better with teaching people. My Elder Garcia is a really good teacher. I need to develop mad skills like this guy. He is just really good at getting personal and teaching lovingly. And he has been teaching me how to speak spanish but like an actual mexican and not a white kid learning spanish, mostly with vocabulary. Aand he is teaching me a lot of things i shouldnt probably say as a missionary and since he has done that I understand like 50 percent better what the people are saying because they talk very dirty with a lot of slang. haha.

It was sick - we were walking to an appointment this week and we heard drums and saw smoke and right in front of the house we were going to there was like an azteca tribe that was doing some type of dance. I don't know what it was. All I know is it was litty.

Sorry, I cant find pictures this week. I brought the cord but it's the wrong one haaaaa. I have a ton of photos tho so idk maybe next week i will get my head out the clouds and bring the right one.

Love ya! Stay sweet, stay just like honey.

That is awesome that Taylor is going to South Africa! I'm so stoked for him. But unfortunately now I wont be able to see the cous for a little extra time.

I got my new companion, Elder Garcia. I think it will be good. He kind of has a reputation around these parts but you cant believe what people say. It will be fine. My Spanish has already progressed just these past two days with him haha.

We went to the temple with an investigator Sunday night and the place was packed because it was the night they put up all the lights for Christmas. I saw my homies form the CCM, and my CCM instructors as well. I got some pictures but I forgot to bring my usb thing so I cant share them, sorry.

As of now we only have a few investigators. My trainer left me with the worst numbers since Nam, but its all good. We gonna get them boosted. The weather is really warm in the days, and friged at night and in the mornings. Tell Keaton that he needs to boost those numbers up those are rookie numbers, once every three days? haha just kidding I love that kid to death. Elder Guerrero, he's the new AP but he reminds me of him so much just Mexican.

Did you send the package with pictures of the virgin marry/Guadalupe that is the safest security you can get here.If not the package is as good as gone. haha just kidding, but seriously though.

I love you! Stay golden.

Sorry, I have no time this week. I wont be able to really answer all of your questions but yes we have transfers on Monday. I'm staying here in El Mirador and getting a new comp (President said most likely a latino fella). It should be good. I am so excited to be done with training on the real.

Tell Taylor to stay strong. It is just a small trial he has to face and it will build his patience. My boy theo is coming down here, that's lit. Tell him to stop by Ecatepec if he wants to have a good time haha.

I don't know what else to say, I am in a rush haha. No we don't have anything planned for Thanksgiving but they are putting another set of elders in our area. That makes 4 companionships. That is how big el mirador is, so now hopefully it will be easier to work. There are over 1200 members in the ward but only like 10% are active. It is pretty crazy!

There are some attractive hermanas no lie. It's because we have a visitors center for the temple in my mission so i think they send a lot of attractive latinas here haha. Fine by me. I don't think I really need much for Christmas to be honest. I think I'm good.

I love you! Dios bendiga!

This week was pretty good, but first I got to give a shout out to my old man. Happy Birthday, Pops! Stay young while you can.

Today we helped move some other elders in our area to a new house. We had to stand in the back of the truck because there was no room in the cab and everyone was just staring at us like they aint never seen some white boys in the back of a truck before. People stare at us all the time and little kids are often frightened of me. I have no idea why, I'm a nice guy.

We worked in the Tiangis yesterday and probably contacted like 500 people and got some good references so hopefully our work will take off here pretty soon. We set a lot of new appointments with people so hopefully we can start working out here. Not going to lie, the bottom of my feet are looking like a Steven Spielberg movie. Not pretty. but it's that missionary life out here I guess. We have the biggest area by far in the mission. We cover from station 2 of mexicable until station 7 (if you want to look it up on google just look up mexicable). I am getting fried out here. El sol esta bien brillante.

We had divisions and I went with my boy Elder Sanchez again. We were puttin in that work. I think I have some pictures this week I'll try to send. Other than that there isn't much to update on  except my main man Elder Astle had his mother send in some kit kats to him which he then transported to the temple grounds in the offices to drop off for me for my birthday. What a guy.

Love you!
