12/5/2017

I am loving the mission a lot more right now. I love my new comp. He had a rough few months of his mission but he is really awesome. He is crazy but I love it because I'm crazy too. Life is so much better now and my Spanish is improving daily now. Still ugly but improving. I feel good health wise; my feet are just a little messed up but mission life, cha feel?

I love the new district too. There are now 8 elder in the El Mirador ward. It is crazy there are so many of us. Our area is the biggest of them all though. We do some walking haha.

I needed a sweater because it is chilly in the nights here and the one i came with is wayyy too big so i went to the bodega aurrera to buy a knew one and the biggest size they had was xl and it actually  kind of fits me, so thats cool I guess. I am weak now tho, it sucks. The food is good, It is nothing like you think mexican food is though. It is different, way different.

We have been doing a lot better with teaching people. My Elder Garcia is a really good teacher. I need to develop mad skills like this guy. He is just really good at getting personal and teaching lovingly. And he has been teaching me how to speak spanish but like an actual mexican and not a white kid learning spanish, mostly with vocabulary. Aand he is teaching me a lot of things i shouldnt probably say as a missionary and since he has done that I understand like 50 percent better what the people are saying because they talk very dirty with a lot of slang. haha.

It was sick - we were walking to an appointment this week and we heard drums and saw smoke and right in front of the house we were going to there was like an azteca tribe that was doing some type of dance. I don't know what it was. All I know is it was litty.

Sorry, I cant find pictures this week. I brought the cord but it's the wrong one haaaaa. I have a ton of photos tho so idk maybe next week i will get my head out the clouds and bring the right one.

Love ya! Stay sweet, stay just like honey.
