Milagros este semana. First off we had a baptism scheduled for Saturday and our investigator didn't pass her special interview. We will hopefully have it this week. We had a combined service with the stake, and only 6 out of the original 10 got baptized. Our zone leader, a beast of a missionary, Elder Ake did a font call to his investigator with an oh so sweet reinactment of the waters of mormon talk in Mosiah. His investigator got baptized, but that's not the craziest part. 4 more people followed her and had to get interviews right there in the chapel. All the elders were out in the hall filling out the cedulas, y district leaders were interviewing people and Elder Ake was on the phone with president the whole time. It was crazy. But don't worry it was all done in order, nobody was baptized who wasn't ready. It was crazy brazy.
We also had zone conference this past week, and mom, my mission president might be the wisest man of all time. I learned oh so much. I am bummed Elder Guerrero, my old zone leader, got transferred. He was awesome. He reminded me a lot of Keaton with his personality.
This lady we eat with on Sunday asked what my favorite food in the states was a few weeks ago and I told her bbq. So she made me bbq ribs on Sunday. It was heavenly. It really wasn't bad, not like america but it was good.
I'm so stoked for my boy Jordan slangin slices down there in Mississippi. Lookin' like a young Marcus Mariota but more Hawaiian and cooler. I thought more exciting stuff would happen here honestly. but I'm probably just used to it now so I don't know. That's kind of it for now.
Love ya. Stay safe. God bless
