Hey, so Hermana Naumann got mad at me because my emails are too lame. So I will repent and try to send better emails with more experiences.
Let's start off with the fact that God has been showing us his sweet sweet mercy daily out here in Mexico. We have been able to have baptisms the last 3 consecutive weeks, (except for conference week). I just don't like talking about whether we have success cuz I don't want to be like one of "those" missionaries who just try to talk about how great of a missionaries are in their emails home. But this last week Israel was baptized, his change has been incredible. He stopped drugging up, smoking, drinking, and his other addictions and was able to get baptized this Saturday. He is a miracle that God placed into our hands. And yesterday we were able to see Ramon who is getting baptized the 27th. He was a little bit tipsy but he had a firm determination to get baptized. He said it is something he needs in his life, now we just got to help him get off the booz.
On Sunday night we were able to do a family home evening with La familia Garcia Uribe, they invited all their non member family and we got two new investigators from it. They made us waffles after, they really love the states so they always give us American food. #missmesomBBQ
We were able to go to a session at the temple today and guess who I saw? Good ol' Elder Erickson (I don't remember if he spells it like us) from the West Mission! haha it was awesome seeing him but unfortunately we were unable to get a picture together. Talking to him really made me feel blessed because we get to go to the temple every other transfer and he said this is the first time he has gone to the temple his whole mission. #blessed
This week I have been studying a lot about sanctification, restoration, and resurrection. and wow.... you should all read Alma 40 and 41 and really ponder and meditate what "restoration of the body to its natural state" means. Now I have a whole new view of life and the person I must be if I want to be resurrected in a celestially Glorified Body.
